Easy, Vegan Nutella, Oat Cream - Nourish and Flourish
This Easy, vegan Nutella Oat Cream uses your basic oatmeal ingredients to create a delicious filling. Made by nutrition enthusiast Candy, using our almond mylk paste, you can guarantee that this is chocolate treat that is going to be packed full of goodness.
Decadent, creamy, chocolate treats...
...all things you think you have to say goodbye to when you opt for a plant based diet. It’s easy to assume that everything we just listed requires an abundance of dairy to be any degree of tasty. Or, if we are going to create a vegan option we are going to have to break the bank doing so.
Luckily, our nutrition enthusiast Candy is here to prove that both dairy, and a ton of money, are two ingredients that you don’t need to include in your delicious plant-based recipes. This simple recipe provides all the yumminess you would want from a chocolate cream, but uses the same ingredients you would use in your everyday oatmeal.
Sounds too good to be true right?
I mean we eat our oats everyday and whilst they are delicious, the words Nutella cream don’t necessarily come to mind. It’s amazing what a little perspective can do.
You’ll be more than likely to have all of these ingredients already in your cupboard, so there’s no excuse to not make it right away.
If you are yet to purchase our almond mylk, you can grab yourself a jar here.
Here’s what you will need:
Here’s how:
- Combine the oats, cacao powder, protein powder with the boiling water. Stir to make a paste.
- Stir in the nut spread, mylk and sweetener.
- Add more milk if too dry, the mix should resemble oatmeal.
- Freeze for two hours. Serve with whatever you fancy!
Give it a go!
