Raw Protein Balls - Chocolate & Nut

You’ve started the day well. You’ve kickstarted with a healthy breakfast, grabbed a salad for lunch and stayed clear of naughty treats. But then 3pm hits. You’re starting to feel tired. The afternoon slump is in full swing. You need a pick-me-up and your hands are starting to reach for a sweet treat. Something needs to satisfy you. 

Luckily, there’s a way to keep on the health track, satisfy your cravings and have the energy boost you need to get through the rest of the day. And you won’t break the bank doing so. 

These tasty little balls are packed full of fats, slow-releasing carbs and protein that will give you an energy boost. Plus, the added natural sweetness will hit the sweet tooth perfectly. Best of all, they take 10 minutes to make. 

Here’s what you will need: 

Raw protein balls

  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1/2 cup of coconut 
  • 1/4 cup of chia seeds
  • 2 tbs of chocolate 
  • 1tsp of salt 
  • 1tbsp of nut butter 
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon 
  • 1 tsp of Nuts by Nature almond mylk 

The method couldn’t be easier.

Just chuck all the ingredients into a blender. Add a tsp of Nuts by Nature mylk and some water and mix! Once blended form the mix into round balls and pop them in the fridge for a few hours. 

Take out and enjoy as your healthy snack for the rest of the week!
